The National Association of Professional Organizers-Greater Philadelphia Chapter (NAPO-GPC) and Office Max of Exton hosted a shredding event on Saturday, April 28 at 101 Ironlake Boulevard, Exton, PA 19341, (610) 594-3600.
Office Max employees and Professional Organizers were on hand to dispose of confidential documents and shred them through the secure shredding facility at the store. Attendees received a 20% discount off shredding services and shredders that day. The regular cost for shredding at Office Max is $.79/pound. Attendees also had the opportunity to speak to Professional Organizers about their organizing challenges and questions. NAPO-GPC handed out tip sheets and chanced off several prizes including a $200 gift card from Office Max. Members of the National Association of Professional Organizers in the Greater Philadelphia area (NAPO-GPC) participated in a six-month used shoe campaign collecting over 12,000 pairs of shoes for the needy. This was part of a nationwide effort by the National Association of Professional Organizers who partnered with Soles4Souls in a challenge for each local chapter to collect the most shoes. Philadelphia area residents were invited to recycle their gently worn shoes at locations throughout the area on January 14th.
