National Association of Professional Organizers – Greater Phila Sunday, February 10, 2013 — The Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) is a membership-based organization that serves as a resource for the professional organizer industry within the Central/South Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and Delaware region . These specialists provide organizing services, advice, solutions and products to clients in corporate, small business, home office and residential setting throughout the local area. Debbie Lillard, Marketing Director for NAPO-GPC, calls in to talk about NAPO-GPC’s involvement with The Philadelphia Home Show, winding down at the Pennsylvania Convention Center today. She also talks about how NAPO-GPC provides a community service, by pairing previously-used items from clients with area organizations that accept such donations for underprivileged people and those in need.
Ten NAPO-GPC volunteers carried out “Project Thanks” at the home of Master Sergeant Susan Springsteen’s home in NJ. Ms. Springsteen won a one day make-over that started in her home office, but included several areas of the house. The organizers couldn’t help themselves! Read more.
NAPO-GPC volunteers manned the phones for the WHYY National Public Radio Telethon from 6:30 – 9:30 am. Everyone had a great time helping the station reach it’s fundraising goal that morning and NAPO got a mention during drive time in PA, DE & NJ. Photos.
A team of NAPO-GPC organizers helped Channel 10 anchor, Tracy Davidson with the Great Shredder Event on September 29th. Over 1,000 people came to safely shred their private documents with Iron Mountain Shredding. NBC 10 Philadelphia.

The National Association of Professional Organizers-Greater Philadelphia Chapter (NAPO-GPC) and Office Max of Exton hosted a shredding event on Saturday, April 28 at 101 Ironlake Boulevard, Exton, PA 19341, (610) 594-3600.
Office Max employees and Professional Organizers were on hand to dispose of confidential documents and shred them through the secure shredding facility at the store. Attendees received a 20% discount off shredding services and shredders that day. The regular cost for shredding at Office Max is $.79/pound. Attendees also had the opportunity to speak to Professional Organizers about their organizing challenges and questions. NAPO-GPC handed out tip sheets and chanced off several prizes including a $200 gift card from Office Max.
