NAPO-GPC – Regular Members 

A regular member is an individual doing business in the field of organizing. Regular members are entitled to attend scheduled meetings, vote, hold office, and serve on the board of directors. Members of NAPO-GPC typically reside in Delaware, Central or Southern New Jersey or Eastern Pennyslvania.

Credibility: As a member of NAPO and the Greater Philadelphia Chapter, you will increase your credibility as a professional organizer with your clients and colleagues. Membership and leadership in your professional association demonstrate to prospective clients that you care about your profession and are willing to participate in its development.

Educational Programs: NAPO-GPC provides programs that have an impact on you as a professional organizer. Chapter programs are interactive, member-driven and facilitated in ways that add value and interest to your organizing business.

E-group Access: A members-only e-mail list with notification of potential client leads, events, and other resources is another benefit for our membership. Much information is retained at the e-group site including: referral lists of vendors and related service providers, meeting minutes, strategic planning goals, organizational charts and library listings.

Directory: Our online membership directory is a quick and easy way to find personal and professional support. Perhaps you have a client referral, need a unique expert or are looking for a coach or mentor to help you learn a new skill; the directory is a great resource. The directory is available in the Members Only section of this website.

Get Organized Month: Every January we partner as a group to donate our time and expertise ito a local nonprofit organization. We gain recognition for our work while giving back to our community.

Leadership Opportunities: The Greater Philadelphia Chapter offers its members a chance to be involved as an officer, director or committee chair. Share and develop your leadership skills as you shape and lead our industry, develop credibility and position yourself as an organizing expert.

Library: NAPO-GPC maintains an extensive lending library, free of charge, for members. Books, CDs, and audiocassettes related to the organizing profession and general business are available. In addition, all NAPO conference session recordings and all books recommended for professional organizer certification are available in our library.

Mentor Program: A mentor map, identifying sources of support, is available in the Members Only section of this website.

Monthly Chapter Meetings: Attend chapter meetings for professional development, education and networking. Many members say the greatest benefit is the personal interaction and opportunity to talk one-on-one with others working in the same field.

Networking: Getting to know other qualified organizers in your own geographical area can help you receive or give client referrals and provide you with professional resources.

Newsletter: The quarterly chapter newsletter covers an array of interesting topics related to the organizing profession. Information relating to chapter operations and upcoming events is featured as well.

Publicity: Chapter events receive publicity; we are stronger together.

Referral System: NAPO-GPC’s website offers a state-of-the-art referral system linking those in need of organizing professionals with NAPO-GPC members.

Social Opportunities: Our August and December meetings are replaced with members-only social events that provide an opportunity to spend time together in a more relaxed setting.

Website: Your company and contact information will be listed on the NAPO-Greater Philadelphia Chapter website, associating you with one of the finest professional organizing websites in the industry.

NAPO-GPC – Associate Members 

NAPO-GPC invites those who represent a company involved in the design, manufacture, distribution and/or sales of organizing products, or any other company that would benefit from having professional organizers as sources of referrals, or information, or for research of new products or sales ideas, to join as an associate member. Associate Member benefits are:

Contact Information: Access to the "Members Only" section of the NAPO-GPC website and chapter member contact information.

Community Service Opportunities: Work or partner with NAPO-GPC for the GO (Get Organized) Month Project.

Discounts: Discounted booth at chapter expo and/or seminars and discounted registration at chapter seminars and classes.

Library: Borrow materials from our extensive book, CD and audiocassette lending library that includes NAPO conference sessions.

Media Exposure: Receive the benefits of publicity through NAPO-GPC media exposure – print, TV and radio.

Marketing Opportunities: Eligibility to be the featured vender at one of our chapter’s monthly meetings and to display company product at other select meetings.

Networking: Increase your sales potential and market your products by networking with NAPO-GPC members. Our membership has an average annual client base of over 2,500.

Newsletter Ad Discounts: Initial ad placement in chapter newsletter at no cost with discount of future ads.

Publicity: Upon joining, a feature article will be placed in our chapter newsletter introducing your company and services to our membership.

Sales Message to Members: Your sales message and company logo will be presented in the Associate Members section of the Members-Only area of the NAPO-GPC website.

Web Presence: Company and product information on the public portion of the NAPO-GPC website.

National membership is not required for chapter associate membership.

NAPO-National Membership Benefits and Information 

Credit Card Processing Services: Members may take advantage of credit card processing services for organizing businesses through Practice Pay Solutions (PPS).

Education: National membership allows you the opportunity to register for training, seminars and conferences specifically developed for the organizing profession. Educational & Growth Opportunities include:

E-Mail Listserv: Chat with NAPO members throughout the world with this member-chat service.

Insurance: A business and professional liability insurance program is available for NAPO members through NAPOsure.

Prescription Discount Drug Card: NAPO members are eligible for a prescription discount drug card, which can be used for mail-in prescriptions as well as in most pharmacies nationwide.
