Chapter History

The Greater Philadelphia Chapter was established in 1996 as an official chapter of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers). The chapter serves the tri-state area of eastern Pennsylvania, central and southern New Jersey and Delaware. NAPO (pronounced "NAY-po") is an organization of, by, and for professional organizers.

The Greater Philadelphia Chapter has had steady growth in its membership. At present there are over 80 members. Organizers who have five or more years of proven experience in the business of organizing and have been a member of NAPO in good standing for a minimum of one year are eligible for membership in the Golden Circle, a special designation for veteran organizers.
